This only happens to me when my MP settings are set to LAN, it is yet to happen when I select WAN.
In general I just wait to get logged out every first time I sign in, then re-log on, not sure how to fix it tbh
I have never had my game disconnect in a single-player quest, yet it happens in 70% of my multiplayer games.
Here is the thing, I am using LAN settings since even though I opened ports 1000-1005 and configured my firewall settings for the same, I cannot connect to a Co-op game using WAN settings. (I followed instructions to the letter)
My buddy and I pretty much spend half of our playing time trying to fix this issue and end up sitting side by side playing quests individually.
Are there plans to change Co-op issues in future updates? Anyone facing similar issues and find a fix?
The same happens to me when I first login, it won't connect to chat and automatically takes me back to AOE homepage to login again, then it will usually work
Single player and chat works fine.
I forwarded the ports 1000-1005 and went through the firewall settings in read_me on discord and still cant connect to coop games
Im using LAN only settings which was working until now
I'm having the same issue, have been playing for weeks on LAN Only as MP Settings.
Since last update 1.4.5 have not been able to play LAN or WAN either
When starting quest it says Creating Quest then abandons and goes back to Capital
